One of the things I appreciate most about Filestea is how cared for I feel when I’m with her. Life is busy, and so much of our time goes to looking after everything and everyone else. When I walk into a session with Filestea, all of that starts to melt away. She begins by holding lavender near my nose and inviting me to take a few deep breaths, and that simple moment helps me set down the day and settle in.
I’ve been seeing her for about two years, and I’m continually struck by her curiosity, creativity, and real interest in understanding what’s happening in my body. She asks thoughtful questions, notices how I’m feeling, and adapts to whatever pain or tension I bring in. It’s never a routine massage, and that kind of individualized attention is rare.
Beyond her skill, Filestea brings warmth, kindness, and a depth of life experience to her work. She understands that everyone arrives with different needs, and she meets you exactly where you are. I always leave feeling not only physically better but truly restored. It’s a special thing to have someone create a space where you can let everything else go and know you’re in good hands.
